Srinagar, Mar 5 : To facilitate optimum enrollment in Government schools, a Grand Enrollment Campaign was launched by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Thursday.

Under the drive, scores of children are being enrolled in government schools across Kashmir.

The Director School Education Kashmir, Mohammad Younis Malik today participated in the drive in Sheikh Mohalla, Chinarabad and Munawarabad, Zone Srinagar were 50 students from different families were enrolled  in nearby Government schools, on the spot.

 On this occasion, Malik emphasized upon all Chief Education Officers to continue the drive so that more children are registered.

He said that drive is gaining momentum and there is positive response from the public.

He was accompanied by Joint Director Central, Abid Hussain, Chief Education Officer, Srinagar, Naseer Malik and other officers of the department.

Pertinent to mention that the drive started from February 2020 in all districts of Kashmir under which thousands of students have been enrolled in the government schools till date.
