Srinagar, Mar 12, Continuing drive against erring Food business operators for not adopting proper hygienic, a team of Food Safety officers headed by Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety sealed a restaurant namely M/s Zehran Foods at Nigeen, here today.
The authorities also filed 31 criminal complaints in the court of Adjudicating Officer Srinagar against butchers, bakers, restaurant operators for not maintaining proper hygiene at their place of work.
Authorities have asked all food business operators to maintain hygiene within their premises and not to keep food items uncovered for display or face stern action under relevant provisions of FSS Act.(KNT)
