Poonch, March 12 : A residential house was damaged in a fire mishap at Loran village of Poonch district in Jammu.
Reports reaching GNS said that the house belonging to Manzoor Ahmad son of Ali Mohd caught fire in the afternoon at Loran.
Soon after the incident, the locals informed the fire service department but fire tenders reached late despite the house being located on the roadside, the locals alleged.
The house is a 3-storey and two upper stories were gutted in the mishap. Had the fire tenders reached well on time, the damage would have been prevented, the locals said.
A police officer said that the house suffered damage and the cause of incident is being ascertained. (Agencies)
