New Delhi, Mar 12 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in his ‘effective’ reply during a discussion in the Rajya Sabha on violence in Delhi, has “cleared all misgivings” about the CAA and the National Population Register, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said here on Thursday.
Talking to reporters outside Parliament after a debate in the Rajya Sabha on the Delhi violence, the Law Minister said, ‘Amit Shah ji today, in his effective response, dispelled all misgivings about CAA and NPR. The Opposition, including the Congress, should now stop spreading their ‘untruth and false narrative’.’
He said the Opposition leaders, including Ghulam Nabi Azad and Kapil Sibal of Congress, were ‘unable’ to state any clause in the Citizenship Amendment Act that takes away the citizenship of any Indian,
