New Delhi: The number of coronavirus cases in India has risen to 114 on Monday, Ministry of Health and Family Affairs said.

In the last 24 hours, four cases have increased in the country. As many as 13 people have been cured so far.

Today, Odisha has also reported the first case from the deadly infection, which caused around 6,000 deaths globally. Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Kerala reported the other three cases.

According to the ministry, over 12 lakh people were screened at airports.

Two people have so far died of the infection in the country so far. The virus had first emerged in China’s Wuhan city in December last year.
