Sopore, Mar 18 : An isolation ward has been set up in Sopore hospital in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

In-charge of Isolation ward, Dr. Rudeenyana told wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), “an isolation ward has been set up with the help of Directorate of Health Services. It will act as a quarantine facility.

There is no need to panic.”She further said that the center has been created for screening and keeping suspected cases in quarantine. “We have set up a 7-bed ward, which is fully equipped with all arrangements. Our staff is also trained to tackle the threat of deadly infection,” she said. She said that no suspected case has so far been reported from Sopore.

The government has instructed officials of health institutions to remain alert and keep their isolation wards ready to quarantine the affected persons across the Valley—(KNO)
