Srinagar, March 29:  Government on Sunday asked private schools to desist from any fee hike. It is also mulling to provide two-month advance Mid Day Meal ration to the families of students.

“In this hour of crisis, private schools across J&K to desist from any fees hikes from parents/ kids and issued 121 orders to grade-2 teachers of Kashmir Valley,” tweeted Principal Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Government Dr Asgar Hassan on Sunday.

He said all government school teachers across Jammu and Kashmir can give two-month advance Mid Day Meal dry rations to kids’ families in view of social distancing and restricted mobility.

Dr Samoon also urged the teachers, students and parents to stay at homes, saying “we are in a community transmission phase”. (GNS)
