Sopore, April 03  : Police arrested two militant associates affiliated with banned outfit Lashkar e Toiba and recovered arms and ammunition in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Friday.

Reports reaching GNS said that following on a specific information about the presence of two militant associates in Noorbagh area of Sopore , a joint team operation was launched by police, army and CRPF , during the raid two militant associates were arrested.

A senior police official also confirmed to GNS and said duo were providing logistic support to active militants of LeT, officer said arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession. Officer said a case has been registered and initiated investigation into the incident.(GNS)
