Budgam, April 11,: Eight family members who had come into contact with a deceased Covid-19 patient were tested negative on Saturday.

A Beerwah family here in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district was quarantined after reports surfaced that the deceased Covid-19 patient from Tangmarg had visited their house. All the 8 members were tested negative for Covid-19 today.

Block Medical Officer, Beerwah, Dr Bashir Ahmed Khan told KNT that all the family members were issued certificates of being Covid-19 negative sent back to their home with the advice that they will go for home quarantine.

Besides BMO, SDM Beerwah, Ajaz Ahmed and SHO Police Station Beerwah Athar Ahmed visited the said quarantine centre and allowed the family members to go home. (KNT)
