Srinagar, Apr 24: A Baramulla youth was arrested by police after heroine was recovered from his vehicle on Srinagar-Nowgam bypass on late Thursday night.
Police sources told KNT that during a naka at Nowgam Chowk, police party from Nowgam police station stopped a Bolero vehicle (JK01J-2554) and recovered 3.5 grams Heroine.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and case vide number 56/2020 under section 21 NDPS Act was registered against him.
The arrested person has been identified as Firdous Ahmed Reshi son of Muhammad Abdullah, a resident of Khawaja Mohalla Badra Kot Tangmarg who presently lives at Hamzah Colony Bemina Srinagar. (KNT)
