Srinagar, May 4: Octogenarian woman from Coronavirus hit Gund Jahangir village of North Kashmirโ€™s Baramulla district was discharged from the hospital after recovering from Covid-19 infection.

Principal JVC SKIMS, Bemina Dr Reyaz Untoo told KNT that today 12 persons including elderly woman who were hospitalized, after testing positive for Coronavirus last month, were discharged from different hospitals, after repeatedly testing negative for the infection, they had contracted.

He said that 12 Covid-19 patients were discharged after successful treatment in the hospital. He said 3 patients among these 12 are non-locals. โ€œOut of these 12 patients, 2 are from Srinagar, Banipora 2, Baramulla 5, Delhi 2 and one from Kerala,โ€ Untoo said.

Princiapl JVC SKIMS said that the elderly woman from Gund Jahangir Bandipora recovered fully from Covid-19 infection. โ€œThis woman was admitted in the hospital in a serious condition. She was suffering from pneumonia and acute respiratory disorder.

89 patients have been discharged from SKIMS Bemia so for, the highest recovery rate as compared to other hospitals in Kashmir Valley. (KNT)
