Srinagar: – SKIMS Medical College, Bemina Srinagar has emerged as one the finest institutes leading from the front against Covid-19 Pandemic, in Jammu and Kashmir.
The recovery rate of the Covid-19 Patients in the Hospital is Fifty six percent which is higher than the national percentage and the number is counting.
Out of 149 Covid-19 patients that were admitted in the hospital since its nomination as special COVID-19 hospital, The Doctors at the health facility have worked tirelessly hard in treating the patients and more than half of the patients have been successfully treated so far.
Today, 12 more covid-19 patients were discharged from the hospital after they were treated successfully. The discharged include an octogenarian lady from Gund e Jahangir hamlet of north Kashmirโs Bandipora District.
While talking to Kashmir Press Service, Principal JVC Medical College Bemina, Professor Riyaz Ahmad Untoo said that, the Hospital strictly follows the ICMR guidelines while dealing with the COVID-19 Patiens and the Medical and Paramedical staff of the Hospital has worked tirelessly in treating the patients.
โThe results speak for itself and the number of patients that have recovered in the hospital is a testimony to the hard work done by the doctors and the paramedical staff of the hospitalโ Prof. Untoo Said.
He said that today the hospital discharged twelve patients who have successfully recovered from the disease. The discharged include two patients each from Srinagar, Bandipora and New Delhi, Five from Baramulla and One patient from Kerala.
The recovered Patients were seen off by the Principal JVC Bemina, Prof. Riyaz Ahmad Untoo and DMS,sanitation superintendent and senior security supervisor, from the health facility.
