Poonch, May 07 : A civilian sustained splinter injuries on Thursday in an ongoing cross border shelling along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu region.
A police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that ceasefire violation is going on in Shahpur, Kirni and Qasba areas of Poonch sector since Thursday afternoon with Pak army resorted to intense shelling on areas close to border.
“A villager have received injuries in shelling.” official said. He added that an ambulance have been rushed for evacuation of injured person but, intense shelling is halting the evacuations process—(KNO)
