Ganderbal, June 19: Police seized four tippers and a JCB and registered a case against a person for illegally extracting soil at Wanihama area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal.

Police sources told news agency KNT a police party from police post Nagabal during the intervening night of June 18 and 19 raided a soil extraction spot and seized 4 tippers and a JCB that were used for illegal soil extraction from Wanihama Ganderbal.

Police after seizing the tippers and JCB registered an FIR vide number 133/2020 under section 188,379,447 against one Mushtaq Ahmad Mir of Wanihama Ganderbal.

A police official said that the said person has been arrested. (KNT)
