Baramulla, June 30, KNT: Anti Corruption Bureau has sealed a diagnostic centre in North Kashmir’s Barmaulla district.
Sources told news agency KNT that a team from Anti-Corruption Bureau Kashmir conducted surprise check of ‘Iqra Diagnostic Centre’ located in Baramulla. The surprise checking according to an official was conducted pursuant to an enquiry vide number JSC-04/2020.
During the surprise checking expired reagents were found in the diagnostic centre.
ACB official said that Chief Medical Officer Baramulla has been informed who got the Centre sealed through District Health Officer Baramulla.
When contacted, Chief Medical Officer Baramulla feigned ignorance about the matter saying that she won’t speak anything on the subject, till she receives complete information. “Let me check the documents first and till then I have nothing to say about the matter,” she said. (KNT)
