Reasi, July 21,: Two persons died while another sustained critical injuries after a car they were travelling in met with an accident in Lower Bagga Mahore area of Reasi district on Tuesday.

Police sources told news agency KNT that a private car in which two brothers and their friend were travelling met with an accident and plunged into a deep gorge. The travelers were on way to Mahore from Baddar.

Sources added that vehicle suffered extensive damage in the accident. They said two persons died in the accident while one suffered critical injuries has been shifted to Sub-District Hospital Mahore.

The deceased have been identified as Bashir Ahmed (22) and Muhammad Ayoub (24). The injured has been identified as Muhamamd Iqbal who is the brother of deceased Bashir Ahmed.

Locals said that the spot (Lower Bagga) is accident prone where many accidents have occurred in past as well. In 2018, a KAS officer died on the spot in a road accident.

“This road is dangerous and prone to accidents,” said a local. (KNT)
