Budgam, July 29: Police arrest 4 drivers and seized their tippers for ferrying soil illegally in Beerwah area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam.

A police official told news agency KNT that complaints were pouring in that illegal soil cutting were going on Hardu Malpora area of Beerwah. Acting upon those complaints a police team swung into action and apprehended four tipper drivers on spot while ferrying soil illegally.

He said that four tippers were seized and a formal case was lodged against tipper drivers.

The police official identified the arrested drivers as
Ashraf parray (JK05-3525) of Goripora Beerwah, Hilal Ahmad Kambay (JK02AP-6318) of Suchan, Jehangir Ahmad Khan (JK04F-0618), a resident of Narwara Beerwah and Nisar Ahmad Mir (JK04D-9401) of Sonipah.

An FIR vide number 192/2020 under section 447,379 ,181 stands registered at Police Station Beerwah in this regard. (KNT)
