Sopore, Aug 09 : Sopore police on Monday claimed to have arrested two militant sympathizers from apple town sopre in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to police statement, Joint team of 22RR, SOG, CRPF 179, 92 BN and Sopore police laid naka at Darpora Bomai and arrested two militant associates.

Police has identified them as Ishfaq Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Hassan Mir of Gund Brath and Mohammad Shafi Bhat son of Late Md Maqbool of Darpora Bomai and recovered one Hand Grenade-1 and AK-47 rounds-20 from their possession.

A case FIR No. 63 / 2020 U/S 7/25 IA Act, 18, 23, 38, 39 ULA (P) Act has been registered in PS Bomai in this year .
