Srinagar, Sep 9: An elderly woman from North Kashmir’s Sopore town Wednesday appealed government to help her from the ‘wrath’ of her husband and sons.

Bakhti Baigum (65) emerged here in Press Enclave Srinagar claiming that her husband Muhammad Sultan Ganaie has forcibly dragged her out from the house. She said even her sons are not allowing her to enter into the house as a result she is wandering from pillar to post.

She alleged that nobody from authorities helped her and even police refused to help her.

“I want authorities to take cognizance of my case and initiate action against my husband and sons for their unruly behavior towards me,” she said. (KNT)
