Srinagar, Sep 28: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said post COVID-19 care is presently not in focus in India because the country is still struggling to control the spread of the virus.
However, he said awareness around post COVID care is crucial.

He was responding to a report which quotes experts that India needs more post COVID care centres as many patients are reporting lasting symptoms.
Official reports said that 88,650 more coronavirus cases were reported during the last 24 hours during which another 1,124 COVID19 people died taking Indiaโs total tally on Sunday to 60-lakh mark. Of the total 59,92,532 cases, 9,56,402 are still active. As many as 49,41,627 patients were cured and discharged, whereas 94,503 succumbed to the viral disease.
