Two JeI leaders released from custody after getting bail from court

Bandipora, Oct 23: After getting bail from the court, police have released two Jammat-e-Islami (JeI) leaders from two detention centres.

Sources told News Agency KNT that banned Jammat-e-Islami District President for Bandipora Muhammad Skinder Malik of Gundpora Bandipora and Tehsil President Ali Muhammad Sheikh, a resident of Ashtingoo Bandipora were released from Judicial Custody from Central Jail Srinagar and Sub Jail Baramulla respectively.

Court bailed out both these JeI leaders.

Jammat-e-Islami District President for Bandipora Muhammad Skinder Malik had been lodged at Srinagar Central Jail while Tehsil President Ali Muhammad Sheikh had been detained at Sub-Jail Baramulla.

Both these leaders had been detained under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act at police station Bandipora. (KNT)
