Srinagar, Nov 11: Senior vice-president Peopleโ€™s Conference (PC) and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil on Wednesday said that they are expecting brisk polling and active participation in upcoming District Development Council (DDC) polls in J&K to keep the communal forces away.

He said people should participate and vote for the right people and choose their representatives. Communal forces are trying every option to come into power but people should understand their tactics.

Addressing a party workers convention in Jammu, Vakil said Gupkar alliance has taken a positive decision for jointly participating in the upcoming elections in the region.

โ€œIt is the welcome step and was need of the hour and people should also take care of these things while casting their precious votes,โ€ he said.

Vakil also stated that people of J&K have understood that what kind of atmosphere is being created by encouraging hatrid against each other which is not at all in the intrest of J&K and country also.

The senior leader also said the situation of Jammu and Kashmir is economically, politically very flute after abrogation of article 370. Abrogation of article 370 is more determental and damaging the intrest of Jammu rather the people of Kashmir as the outside J&K people have easy excess to purchase land and property in Jammu. Not only this the people of j&k were badly humilated by granting UT status to J&K.
If people of J&K want that their interest are strongly safe guarded and want to live a peaceful life, free from communal frenzy and fast track development, they must opt and vote candidates fielded by Gupkar alliance Vakil aaded.
it is unfortunate that some forces are active in dividing the people on the basis of caste, creed, and religion but the people of Jammu and Kashmir have never accepted these forces in the past nor will accept them in future but will support truth and the truth is communal harmony and brotherhood Vakil said.
The convention was presided by senior leader of PC Sh. Mohan Lal Radha (Rtd. Range officer). While addressing the convention Sh. Mohan Lal Radha stressed L.G J&K to make recruitment of educated youth on fast track as the unemployment problem is the burning issue in J&K which should be solved on priority besides other who spoke in the convention include Sh.
