Srinagar, Jan 31: Security forces in a joint operation on Sunday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition from a shop in Sopore of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, based on disclosures made by an OGW who was recently arrested.

As per News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), the seizure included a pistol, twenty rounds and five grenades.

Official sources told KDC that the fresh recovery was made from a shop in Sangrama Sopore.

“The accused OGW was caught in Bandipora recently. During questioning, he revealed some vital clues and subsequently, security forces raided a shop in Sopore and recovered arms and ammunition.

Meanwhile, an FIR pertaining to the incident has been registered under relevant sections of law and further investigations are on. (KDC)
