Srinagar, Mar 02,: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday carried out a combined raid in the residential house of a Patwari of Revenue Department and seized some revenue documents besides arresting the officer.

Sources told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that soon after Patwari was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of thirteen thousand, the sleuths of ACB and CBI raided his in-laws house in Gousyar area of Kashmir capital Srinagar, where he is currently residing.

“During searches the combined team seized some revenue documents besides the Patwari was arrested, ” sources said.

Sources identified the accused Patwari as Mohammad Afzal, a resident of Budgam district, who is currently posted in Bemina Srinagar. (KDC)
