Poonch, April 03 : Chief Education Officer Poonch has ordered an inquiry against ZEPO Surankote after “viral video” on social media in which she is seen misbehaving with the management of a private school.
“Keeping in view the content of viral video clip regarding mis-behaviour by Zonal Education Planning Officer Surankote with management of a private school namely ‘Yaseen English Medium School Dhundak’ as well as a local Imam…in order to ascertain the facts/enquire the matter in depth a committee comprising of officers is hereby constituted,” reads an order by the ZEO Poonch.
The committee members include Dy. Chief Education Officer Poonch (HQ Mendhar), Principal BHSS Poonch and Principal HSS Mandi.
“The committee shall visit on-spot, enquire the matter in-depth and furnish the detailed report alongwith personal comments to this office within two days positively, enabling this office to proceed further in the matter and apprize the higher authorities accordingly well in time,” the order, a copy of which lies with GNS, reads.
Sub-District Magistrate Surankote Poonch has already sought an explanation from ZEPO Kamlesh Kumari after “viral video” on social media in which she is seen using “derogatory language” during visit to the school besides entering a mosque adjacent to the educational institution without removing shoes.
