Ramban, May 20: An 18-year-old truck conductor was killed on Thursday after he fell into a 300-feet deep gorge at Khooni Nallah area of Ramban district, an official said.

Station House Officer (SHO) Ramsoo, Rouf Ahmed Khan told the news agencyโ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an 18-year-old boy, a truck conductor by profession, identified as Talib Ali, son of Mohammed Khali of Shangus, was in a cabin of truck bearing registration number JK02AG-7873 when he opened the window and accidentally fell into a deep gorge.

โ€œRescuers immediately swung into the action and retrieved his body from 300-feet deep gorge,โ€ he said, adding that proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiatedโ€”(KNO)
