Bandipora, July 14 : The Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday said that they have registered a case and also seized the army vehicle after it mowed down an elderly woman to death in Nadihal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

In a statement, issued to the news agencyโ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO), police said that today an accident took place at Nadihal, in which an elderly woman was hit by an Army vehicle, and she died on spot.

The statement reads that the body of the woman was shifted to hospital for completion of medico legal formalities.

“In this regard a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and the vehicle has also been seized. Further investigation of the case was going on,” it readsโ€”(KNO)
