Srinagar, Aug 06 : The Enforcement Directorate Friday summoned mother of People’s Democratic Party chief, Mehbooba Mufti’s mother for the second on to appear before it on August 18 at 11:00 am.

A notice, issued by the ED, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) has asked Gulsan Nazir, wife of former chief minister late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to appear in person before it on August 18 at its zonal office in Raj Bagh Srinagar.

The notice stated that ED has stated it was making investigation under the provision of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002 (15 of 2003) and the attendance of Gulshan was necessary in connection with the said investigation.

Earlier, Gulshan Nazir was summoned in July in the alleged money laundering case by the agency. (KNS)
