Ganderbal, Aug 10 : The Congress leader and Member of Parliament (MP), Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday morning visited the Kheer Bhawani temple in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district to pay obeisance.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Rahul Gandhi paid obeisance at the Mata Kheer Bhawani temple situated in the middle of a spring in Tullamulla village here.

They said that security was beefed up along the route to facilitate Gandhi’s visit to the temple.

Notably, Mata Kheer Bhawani temple is located in Tullamulla village and is the holiest temple shrine of Kashmiri Pandits—(KNO)
