Srinagar, Aug 26: The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday ordered reconstitution of governing body of the J&K Social Welfare Board with Advisor In-charge, Social Welfare department as its Chairman.
In an order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), government accorded sanction for the reconstitution of governing body of J&K Social Welfare Board.
“In supersession of all previous orders on the subject, sanction is hereby accorded to the reconstitution of Governing Body of the J&K Social Welfare Board,” reads the order.
As per the order advisor in charge Social Welfare Department will be its chairman while administrative secretaries of Finance Department, Health & Medical Education Department, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, School Education Department and Social Welfare Department to be its members.
The order also stated that Executive Director/Secretary, J&K Social Welfare Board will be its member secretary. (KNS)
