Poonch, Oct 2 : Police on Saturday recovered body of a 35-year-old chemist from his home in Dhargloon area of Mendhar Poonch, officials said.
They said at about 0940 hours, the chemist Tahir Mehmood (35) son of late Mohammad Sadeeq (retired ZEO) was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his room. A police party from police station Gursai rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
A police officer told GNS that the body has been shifted to Sub District Hospital for postmortem. Tahir, the officer said, Tahir owned a shop near Sangla Chowk Mendhar.
SHO Gursai Niaz Ahmed told GNS that proceedings under 174 CrPC have been launched. (GNS)
