Srinagar, Nov 16 : Jammu and Kashmir National Conference vice-president, Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that an impartial and credible inquiry into the Hyderpora encounter was an absolute necessity.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Omar said that there are far too many questions being raised about the counter and they need to be answered swiftly in a credible manner.

“An impartial & credible inquiry in to the recent encounter in #Hyderpora is an absolute necessity. There are far too many questions being raised about the encounter & about the people killed. There have been numerous instances of fake encounters in the past and the questions raised about this #hyderporaencounter need to be answered swiftly & in a credible manner,” he Tweeted. (KNS)
