SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister and People’s Democratic Party President has demanded the body of Amir Magray, another civilian who was killed in the Hyderpora gunfight on twitter.

She wrote on twitter, “Aamir Magrey also killed in Hyderpora encounter is yet to be given a decent burial by his mourning family.”

“The fact that these families are begging for mortal remains instead of asking for justice reflects their lack of faith in the system. His body must be returned immediately.”

Amir Magray, a resident of Ramban was one of the civilians killed in the ‘gunfight’. While, Police yesternight allowed the exhumation of the bodies two civilians, Altaf Ahmad Bhat and Dr Mudasir Gul, Magray’s body is yet to be returned.

The three were buried by the Police at Handwara after they were killed allegedly in crossfire during the Hyderpora ‘gunfight’.

Magray had been described by the police as a “hybrid militant”.
