Pulwama, Dec 19: A CRPF constable was critically injured at National highway near Awantipora area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, official sources said.

They said that a CRPF constable of 130 Battalion identified as Shrawan Kumar who was performing ROP duty at NHW was hit by one Alto car bearing registration number JK22-5839 resulting in critical injuries to the paramilitary trooper.

Official sources told KDC that the injured trooper was immediately shifted to PHC Awantipora where doctors referred him to Srinagar hospital for further treatment. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is on. (KDC)
