Baramulla, Dec 23 : The authorities in north Kashmirโ€™s Baramulla district on Thursday directed government teachers of the district not to teach at private coaching institutions.

According to an order, issued by chief education officer Baramulla, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the coaching centre shall ensure that no government employee is imparting teaching in their coaching or tuition centre.

The order stated that in view of the directions issued by the department from time to time, all teachers, masters and lecturers of the district are directed not to practice private tuition or coaching in any private institution or coaching centre.

โ€œIn case of any violation found from the particular coaching centre, strict action under provision of law shall be initiated against the centre and also action against the particular government employee,โ€ it stated.

The order further stated that all the Zonal Education Officers (ZEO’s) are asked to maintain a strict vigil over the violations of these directions and prompt reporting to his office. (KNS)
