Lightning left an army soldier dead in ski resort Gulmarg here in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The lightning struck during the intervening night of June 10 and 11 at Roshni Army Picket in Gulmarg.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that an army soldier from 18 Rashtriya Rifles who was identified as 32-year-old Lokendra Singh died after lightning struck at the Roshni Picket where he was posted.
A police official confirmed the death of army soldier due to lightning. (KNT)
