Locals on Thursday spotted a dead body that was floating in the river Jehulm near Khanpora Bridge of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Police rushed to the spot and retrieved the body.

A police official confirmed that a dead body has been retrieved from the river Jehlum. Initial reports suggest that the dead body is of one Javaid Ahmed Lone of Jal Sheeri village of Baramulla who had been missing since 4 July. (KNT)
