Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Hridesh Kumar invited all major political parties for a meeting on Monday over special summary revision of electoral rolls.
According to sources, Kumar has formally sent invitation letters to political parties for a meeting with him on September 5 at Nirvanchan Bhavan, Jammu to discuss Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls.
However sources said that the meeting has more to do with clearing of appherensions over inclusion of 25 Lakh outsider voters.
Congress, NC, BJP, Peoples Conference and PDP have been invited by the CEO’s office for the meeting scheduled on Monday at 4:00 PM. (KNS)
