Ahead of the sixteenth mini-auction involving 10 IPL slated for 23 December, cash-rich Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has announced the list of cricketers it will retain for IPL-2023.

Both Jammu Kashmir players, Umran Malik and Abdul Samad are being retained for four crore rupees each, as per the agenciesโ€™ reports.

The SRH which currently falls at the No 8 rank within IPL has retained twelve players and delisted a few including its captain, Kane Williamson.

Reports appearing in the media said SRH will retain Rahul Tripathi, Abhishek Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan, and Abdul Samad. Its overseas players include Afghanistanโ€™s Fazalhaq Farooqui, New Zealandโ€™s Glenn Phillips, and South Africaโ€™s Marco Jansen and Aiden Markram.
