Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh on Wednesday declared the Tral hamlet of southern Kashmir as a “militancy free” and said youth there are now following the path of peace and development

Speaking to reporters at Tral as per Kashmir News Service (KNS), Dilbag said that Tral area has now become an area of ??peaceful environment where people are on the path of development and want progress in their respective areas.

“The area has become almost free of militancy and for that I want to congratulate the people here because the youth here are now on the path of peace, leaving the path of militancy and bloodshed,” he added.

While advising the youth, he said now they have to make the path of peace their destination while they should not follow the wrong path under any temptation because those who took the wrong path have never returned.

He also said youth here must now work together with the administration and the security forces for the development of the area. (KNS)
