Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) on Monday sealed a ration depo alleged of selling free flour in black-marketing at Baki-akar in Handwara of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

TSO Ehsan-ul-Haq told GNS that they had received a complaint about a storekeeper alleged of selling free flour in black market to gullible consumers.

“A departmental team was constituted and sent to the spot and upon arrival of the visiting team, the storekeeper closed the depot and fled the scene”, he said.

“Our team sealed the godown instantly and further action as mandated by law will be initiated accordingly”, the officer further said. (GNS)
