The Deputy Commissioner Budgam has suspended a first class magistrate after finding him absent in Khansahib area in central Kashmir.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that during a weekly visit of DC Budgam, Fakhurdin Hamid to Khanasahib SubDivision, Tehsildar Abdul Gani was found absent and thereafter report was sought from SDM and he in turn informed that the Tehsildar is absent from 13th February till date.
It was further reported that Tehsildar was generally not available at his office following which enquiry had already been initiated, he said.
In the meanwhile DC Budgam has suspended the Tehsildar and attached him in the office of district S& E office and ACR has been appointed as enquiry officer to ascertain the facts.(KDC)
