The crescent of the month of Ramadan was not be seen at the Tamir Observatory in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, reports said.

Therefore, Thursday, March 23, will be the first day of Ramadan there.

The beginning and end of the month depend on the crescent moon, which is why Ramadan is not set on any specific days annually.

 

Where as, Friday 24th March 2023 will be the first day of Ramadan 1444 in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
