A mysterious blast left a man injured in the Chatha area of Jammu on Wednesday morning, officials said.
They said a low-intensity blast occurred at a house in which a man who was present in his brother’s house was injured.
The man was taken to hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
Police said that prima facie it seems that the blast was a result of explosive material of low intensity, suspected to be intended for illegal animal hunting or trapping purposes.
A case has been registered and an investigation taken up. [KNT]
