While continuing its efforts to bridge the gap between people and forces 55 RR of Indian army organised a programme on women Empowerment at Government Boys Degree College auditorium. In which around 300 students participated.
Dr liza a prominent gynecologist and Ms Rumi Nazir a journalist were among many prominent personalities who participated in the programme and also Major Abishek Reqiwal and capitan Shakti of 55 RR were also present during the said programme.
The main objective of organising this event was to aware people about the value of a woman in society and the freedom given to them to achieve heights.
Students from different schools and colleges exchanged ideas and shared their views on different issues related to women empowerment. At the end of program awards were distributed among students who bagged positions
