At least four labourers were injured after being hit by a ‘rolling stone’ at Pishu Top in Pahalgam of Anantnag, official sources said on Sunday evening.

Identifying the injured persons as Tariq Ahmad Khan, son of Noor Mohd Khan, resident of Hyhama Kupwara; Tanveer Ahmad Khatana, son of Mehboob Ahmad Khatana, resident of Awoora Kupwara; Naseer Ahmad Bajad, son of Abdul Hamid Bajad, resident of Magam Handwara and Jahangir Ahmad Cheechi, son of Mohd Shafi Cheechi, resident of Tarthpora Kupwara, the official sources told GNS that all the injured were soon after evacuated to Primary Health Centre Pahalgam.

“Two among the injured Tariq Ahmad Khan and Tanveer Ahmad Khatana have been referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment while the two other continue to receive treatment at PHC Pahalgam”, they added.
