The J&K Traffic Police today announced restrictions for traffic movement keeping in view the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra 2024.
As per the news agency CNS, police said that the restriction on vehicular movement has been decided by the administration to be imposed on different routes.
“In view of forthcoming Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra-2024, administration has decided to impose certain restrictions on traffic plying on different routes. These restrictions will be in force between 28/06/2024 and 19/08/2024,” the J&K Traffic Police said in a latest update.
It added that the traffic department, starting from today i.e. 27/06/2024, will issue special traffic advisories, on a daily basis, which will carry the necessary details with do's and don'ts.
“People, including tourists and yatris, are requested to strictly abide by the instructions to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and plan their journey accordingly,” the J&K Traffic Police added. (CNS)
