Khurshid Ahmad Divani, a leading social activist and senior figure in the Civil Society Forum, is in mourning following the death of his wife, Amina Divani.
Amina, a respected social activist in her own right, passed away at Bilal Colony, Bemina, Srinagar.
In a heartfelt condolence statement, Ab Qayoom Wani, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum and President of the Pensioners United Front, expressed deep grief over Amina Divani’s passing. Wani described Amina as a pious lady and a dedicated social activist with a significant impact on the community.
He extended his prayers for her eternal peace and offered strength to Khurshid Divani and the bereaved family.
An Ijtimai Fateh Khani will be held tomorrow, Friday, at 2:30 p.m. at the graveyard near Masjid Anjum Sharija, Ground Road, Bemina. Leaders from the JKCSF and PUF have conveyed their sympathy and solidarity with the Divani family, praying for Jannat ul Firdous (paradise) for the departed soul.
