The Hotelier Club Gulmarg, led by President Akib Chaya, strongly condemns the terror attack that occurred today in Baisaran, Pahalgam, describing it as a cowardly act that has caused significant distress in the region.

On behalf of the hotelier community and hospitality sector of Jammu & Kashmir, Chaya expressed deep condolences to the victims and their families. "This act of violence has affected many and caused pain in our community," he said, affirming support for those impacted.

The attack was condemned as unacceptable and contrary to the values of peace and progress in Jammu & Kashmir. Chaya noted the region’s recent strides in tourism and community unity, stating that such incidents aim to disrupt these efforts.

The Hotelier Club urged the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and the Union of India to take firm action against those responsible for the attack. "We seek justice and a safe environment for our people," Chaya said.

The statement called for continued unity to ensure a peaceful and prosperous future for Jammu & Kashmir. "We stand together to protect our region’s progress," Chaya concluded.
