Apni Party on Wednesday expelled Muntazir Mohiuddin from the basic membership of the party with immediate effect.

A meeting of Parliamentary Affairs Committee (PAC) of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party was held today at the party headquarters, Church Lane, Srinagar, under the chairmanship of Mohammad Dilawar Mir.

During the meeting, the Committee took serious note of the recent irrelevant and inappropriate press statements issued by the Party's Chief Spokesperson, Muntazir Mohiuddin, which were found to be not in the interest of the Party.

"After thorough deliberations, the PAC unanimously decided to expel Mr. Muntazir Mohiuddin from the basic membership of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party with immediate effect," the statement reads.

Meanwhile, the party reiterated its commitment to maintaining discipline, unity, and collective responsibility among all its members and office bearers.
